HOME DETOX SUPPORT SERVICE
We offer a home based detox support service that is both accessible and affordable. Research shows that psychological support whilst 'cutting down' or 'quitting' may enhance an individuals success in acheiving and maintaining sobriety.
This innovative way of dealing with addiction allows people to detox from alcohol and drugs whilst in the familiar surroundings of their own home, which we consider plays a considerable part in allowing the client to put all her/his energy into the start of the recovery process. Home Detox is safe, effective and more importantly, the individual and significant others/supporters prefer it. The individual is more likely to remain in treatment and achieve goals as well as maintain sobriety.
Home detox allows the professional to work with the client and those supporting him/her from day one, guiding and enabling resolution of daily issues arising. It also ensures the family and supporters feel they will play an integral part in the clients recovery process. Home detox and continuing care allows the client to proceed through treatment at their own pace, in familiar surroundings, at the correct time and for the right reasons. There is NO waiting time, it is affordable and for all, it will be the first time that they will feel valued as a human being in their own right.

THE STEP ASIDE FAMILY FOUNDATION PROGRAMME.
You do not have to have a drink or drug problem to suffer from addiction. If you are the partner, family member, friend or employer of someone dependent on drink/drugs you may be feeling it is your responsibility to make them stop.
You may be trying to cope with the fear and chaos surrounding active addiction, you may be anxious, ashamed, confused and exhausted.
Often those affected by somebody else’s addiction share similar concerns and emotions as the drug user/ drinker and these concerns manifest as physical illnesses.
The Family Foundation Programme offers a safe and caring environment to explore addiction. During the programme you will gain clarification and an understanding of the dis-ease of addiction. We assist you to ‘step’ back and allow the process of recovery to begin strongly supporting you on your adventure of discovery.
Groups take place every Wednesday 5.30 to 7.30 at Number 5 Brown Street, Salisbury. Please contact the treatment team prior to attending.
Individual sessions available on request.
